A Consumer Society
A Consumer Society began when the War Veterans were returning home, which helped the economy boom when more people were spending more money and ensured employement for almost everyone! At this time, the stock market began to boom and women also reieved the right to vote when their rights were brough to the front.
Movie Hall Era
This time of the century, named the Movie Hall Era, all began with Silent Films. Which were essentially, movies without sound! Back when this occurred, people received their news before the movie began. Charlie Chaplin was an English comic actor, composer, and a film director who became the most famous actor in the world during this era. The "Movie Palace" also became extremely popular in this era. A "Movie Palace" was essentially a large elaborately decorated movie theatre. Next came both the Radio and Dance Halls, all contributing greatly to this booming era.
Jazz Age
The Jazz Age was essentially a period of time in the 1920's when jazz music and dancing became extremely popular. Al Jolson was a famous Jewish American Jazz Singer, comedian, and actor. Louis Armstrong, nicknamed Satchmo or Pops was a famous jazz trumpet player and singer from New Orleans. Flappers also became very popular in this era, known for their shorter hair, frilly dresses, "black music" and suggestive dancing, they became known for their risky charm. The Charleston was also a very famous dance in the 1920's that became very mainstream.

Leisure
In the 1920's America began to experience a state of leisure which included things like the Jazz and Movie Hall Era's, watching Babe Ruth play baseball and seeing the New York Yankees, the creations of Walt Disney, and Henry Ford's production of cars.

Exploration and Innovation
The 1920's was also a time of exploration and innovation, when people began to explore and discover new things will all the opportunities presented. Probably the most advanced exploration made was Amelia Earhart's and Charles Lindbergh's flights and their trip around the world. Aside from this, cars and planes also became very popular and were an easy way for people to explore and be innovative. Movies and Radios were also a means of exploration for people, being able to expand their knowledge and intellect by a means of exploration through technology. 3
