Dawes Plan
The Dawes Plan was when Americans lend Germany money, which is used for work projects (build highways) in order to build their economy. Germany then gets back income tax, which is used to pay reparations to France. France then takes the money and pays back America their debt.
Young Plan 1929
Owen D. Young (an American Banker) suggested they reduce German Reparations by 75%. Annual payments were made on a scaled model. Germany (Hitler) hated this. They felt it should be rid of. Hitler came in in 1933 and refused to pay these Reparations.
